How can I identify it in myself?
In the Bible, Paul says, "I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members" (Romans 7:23). You recognize that you are a captive to sexual sin when you find yourself doing things sexually that deep down inside you do not really want to do, and you cannot find any way to stop on your own.
